The Raspberry Pi PoE HAT is an add-on board designed to power the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B and Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ using an Ethernet cable, provided the Ethernet network includes 802.3af-compliant power-sourcing equipment.

In addition to powering the Raspberry Pi, the PoE HAT features a built-in fan for processor cooling and uses a fully isolated switched-mode power supply to ensure efficient and reliable operation.
